Visual supports are easy and motivational tools you can use to facilitate your transformation process. Whether you are looking to strengthen your physical body, ignite your soul, invoke peace or anything else in between, placing a visual image of this goal up in your home or work place will provide a simple psychological advantage.
You can draw the picture, cut it out of a magazine, write words, etc. Find an image or words that represent that which you are seeking. Place the image or words in an area where you will see it daily. You can even write on your mirror with a dry erase marker so you will be sure to see it daily.The more you see the image, the more it will be placed in your mind. It has a natural way of seeping in so you can focus more on that which you are seeking.
The picture in this blog post was essential to my personal health transformational process. My body went through multiple surgeries and injuries. Seeing this image along with words of strength and love supported my ability to stay focused on the healing process. When I felt pain and despair, I looked up to the image to remind me that my body was once strong and whole. The body does not forget how to repair and it does not forget the strength it once had. You can repair always return to a sense of health, strength and well-being with a strong focus on nourishing these cells back to health. Visual reminders keep you focused on the steps you need to take while it also triggers the bodies positive health memory. Allow the image to keep you focused on the solution instead of the problem.
